WINE TYPE: Rosato IGT Rosina
PRODUCTION AREA: The wine is produced in the hilly territory of the municipality of San Gimignano, in the province of Siena. The soils are of Pliocene origin, while the vineyards are planted on tuffaceous and clay-rich soils.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Sangiovese 95% – Canaiolo 5%
PRODUCTION – WINEMAKING: Grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16°C in stainless steel tanks.
TASTING NOTES:
Color: Cherry-pink (Cerasuolo rosé).
Aroma: Notes of strawberry, melon, and rose.
Palate: Fresh and fruity.
Alcohol Content: 12.5%
Food Pairings: Excellent as an aperitif. It pairs perfectly with appetizers, delicate cured meats, fish dishes, shellfish, white meats, grilled vegetables, gourmet salads, and fresh cheeses. It is also an ideal match for Mediterranean cuisine and lightly spiced dishes.
